Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development:

> Oversee daily activities of supervisors, analyst and counters providing guidance, support and performance management.

> Develop skills and capabilities of the inventory team through coaching, training and continuous feedback.

> Act as the primary point of escalation for inventory-related issues, resolving conflicts or operational challenges within the team.

Inventory Accuracy and Control:

> Ensure accuracy of all inventory records and work toward maintaining high accuracy standard. 

> Monitor and analyze cycle counts, physical inventories and discrepancy reports, leading analysis using OMSFC tools and taking corrective actions when necessary

> Ensure all contractual KPI under inventory are on target

Process Improvement and Optimization:

> Identify inefficiencies in current inventory processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness.

> Lead projects related to inventory optimization, space utilization, or SKU management, working closely with warehouse operations and other departments.

> Develop automation and improvement on reports and any analysis data being used.

Compliance and Auditing:

> Ensure that all inventory procedures are compliant with internal policies, external regulations, and Avon customer requirements

> Prepare and lead internal and external inventory audits, ensuring that the inventory team is audit ready at all times.

> Establish and maintain best practices for loss prevention, including inventory security and shrinkage control.

Collaboration and Coordination

> Coordinate closely with warehouse operations managers to ensure seamless movement of goods and accurate recording of stock levels

> Liaise with Avon customer to address any inventory related concerns, provide reports, manage projects and ensure service levels are met.

 Data Management and Reporting

> Maintain and update inventory data in the WMOS ensuring data integrity and real-time accuracy.

> Generate inventory reports for customer and management reviews

> Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving inventory management

Requirements

> BSC in Supply chain management, logistics, business administration or any related field

> certification in inventory management a plus

> 3-6 years experience in inventory management or warehousing with at least 2 years in supervisory or leadership role

> Proven track record of leading successful inventory audits and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy

> Experience with WMOS or other warehouse management systems

> Hands on experience on cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and root cause analysis for discrepancies

> Familiarity with 3pl environments and working with diverse product categories

> Advance skills in Microsoft Excel, knowledge skills in power BI an advantage

> Understanding inventory management techniques such as FEFO and FIFO

> Demonstrated leadership ability in managing and mentoring teams

> Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams

> Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make date-driven decisions quickly

> Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

> Willingness to work in a warehouse environment and flexible on varying shifts including overtime during peak periods or critical audits.
