We are currently recruiting for an Assembler III, 1st or 2nd shift, to join our team! In this role, without direct supervision, you will complete assignments independently and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in performing various electro-mechanical assembly, test, and inspection procedures on all products, including new assemblies, to ensure that production schedules and quality standards are met. You may use automated test equipment, handheld tools, soldering iron, assembly drawings, bills of materials, schematics, written instructions, and/or other applicable documents. Performs transactions in ERP system.

What you will do in the position:

  • Assemble, rework, and reassemble product as specified on applicable documentation
  • Verify accuracy of instruction documents
  • Check work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications, through verification and testing
  • Work directly with supervisor or lead to advise of work-related problems or product discrepancies
  • Record test data and results
  • Trains others in test and inspection process
  • Assist Team Lead with planning, inventory control, and product movement

What you will need to succeed in this position:

  • Minimum 3 years (5 years preferred) of electronic assembly and testing experience with a proven skillset
  • Technical Certification or degree preferred.
  • Soldering experience required.
  • Technical expert and/or trainer in multiple skill sets of electro-mechanical assembly.

    Pay Range: $18.90/hour - $25.19/hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. At HME you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while developing our future products.
