Grow together:
Timely delivery of DHL packages around the globe in a way that ensures customer data are secure is in the core of what we do. You will provide second/third level day-to-day operation support, and help investigate and resolve incidents, which were not resolved in lower support levels. Sometimes, issues might get tricky and this is where cooperation on troubleshooting with other IT support teams and specialists will come into play. When it comes to firmware bugs, vulnerabilities and other issues related to our technologies, communicating with our vendors is key.

As a SAP Senior Consultant, having SAP Solution Manager is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of SAP Security and Architecture will also be an integral part of this role.

You are a SAP aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of [SAP SolMon, ALM and other functional knowledge]. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.

Roles /Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Design and configure to meet project needs.
  • Lead the implementation of SAP Solutions across the systems.
  • Configure and customize SAP Solution Manager functionalities, including monitoring, incident management, and change control.
  • Set up system monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements.

Project Management and system monitoring:

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Manage the system monitoring setups and alerting mechanisms to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements for all related SAP systems.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on SAP Solution Manager features.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for Solution Manager-related issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and process flows.
  • Document best practices and lessons learned for future projects.

Continuous Improvement and Integration Management:

  • Stay updated on the latest SAP Solution Manager features and updates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements within the system.
  • Oversee integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure that SAP Solution Manager is compliant with company policies and requirements.
  • Implement governance practices for change management and process control.
  • Closely work with Internal and divisional security teams to deliver and align the global security concepts and framework.
  • Design and develop the tools on solution manager to have central repository for all the processes.

These responsibilities require a deep understanding of SAP systems, strong project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
