Job Summary
The Kentucky Cancer Program (KCP) at Markey Cancer Center is recruiting a Community Health Worker. This person will establish and maintain relationships and partnerships with community organizations to promote health equity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of and strong social connections with the Black/African American population and other under served populations of the greater Lexington area. This candidate will form collaborations with leaders and other stakeholders in Black/African American and other under served communities to develop outreach and education to identify needs and establish priorities to reduce health disparities and disproportionate cancer burden. This person will work in the field to conduct outreach and engagement activities that promote cancer prevention and cancer screenings among Black/African Americans and other under served communities. This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend work when required.

This position will have an onsite work arrangement.
