The Research & Knowledge Specialist, or 'Business Development Research (BDR) Specialist' works closely with the Marketing & Business Development’s team of research professionals to provide a high level of support for the firm's legal and business research function. This role will collaborate with senior team members to primarily support the antitrust practice. Using a variety of internal and external databases the individual will regularly perform in-depth legal research in the US court system and in jurisdictions around the globe, including the UK and the EU. The individual will help to identify and prepare summaries of legal developments in the antitrust space and will collaborate with MBD colleagues to research potential opportunities and related information about experts and competitors. This position requires intellectual curiosity; creativity; the tenacity to track down needed information; the capacity to synthesize large amounts of data; and the ability to problem-solve with the highest level of attention to detail and accuracy. The Research Specialist should be equally effective collaborating with colleagues and senior staff and working on self-directed projects.
