ABOUT YOU

You are responsible for effectively planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the daily work and day-to-day workings of particular projects within their department. You are responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, due diligence requests, and ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.


EVERY DAY, YOU WILL

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, & controlling the daily work and day-to-day workings of particular projects.
  • Essential element in driving the day-to-day operations of the company but does not direct the policy or mission of the Company.
  • May manage multiple employees and directly interacts with employees.
  • Oversee, train, discipline, and evaluate employees on a more frequent basis than their manager.
  • Responsible for the overall review, production, and accuracy of hospitality entity financials.
  • Oversight of hospitality accounts payable.
  • Administrative functions related to hospitality accounting software.
  • Key resource for hospitality entity operations team.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and uses of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Works closely with the SVP of Accounting to ensure a clean and timely audit.
  • Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Coordination of information to external auditors and tax department.
  • Prepare reporting packages.

Requirements:

WHAT WE NEED


Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Experience and/or Training Minimum of 3-5 years related experience; Considerable knowledge of hospitality industry and generally accepted accounting principles

Technology/Equipment MRI experience preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
