Job Details:

The Department of Biology at Mercer University is seeking to hire a non-tenure-track lecturer position to teach Anatomy and Physiology I and II. This faculty position is full time with a nine-month contract that requires teaching and service.


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include teaching six to seven courses per academic year (27 hours) at the undergraduate level, including a two semester Anatomy and Physiology sequence that is predominantly enrolled with non-Biology majors pursuing vocational allied health careers. The successful candidate will support the work of the department by advising students, developing a new elective course in the discipline, and promoting the Biology Program at regular university events.

Qualifications:

A master’s degree or higher in biological science, or a related field, from an accredited college or university is required.
