Title : Manager, Facilities Management (Infrastructure Manager)

Position Summary:

This role will support the Corporate Real Estate facility team for the new Home Office Campus in Bentonville, AR. Primary responsibility will be with the exterior services, leading the operations for landscape infrastructure. The selected candidate will take a lead role in the overall operations of mowing, irrigation management, landscape enhancements, and tree care programs; this will include program development and management, capital and operational execution, project management, and vendor management. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with a solid understanding of horticulture, landscape construction, irrigation management, and tree care are essential for success in this role.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for planning, executing, and completing landscaping projects.; and collaborating with clients, architects, and designers to develop designs and plans, prepare project proposals, and conduct site assessments.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans that outline project objectives, scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables. This involves identifying project stakeholders, defining project goals, and creating a roadmap for project execution.
  • Developing and managing budgets for landscape projects, including cost estimation, budget allocation, tracking expenses, vendor invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Resource allocation involves coordinating the procurement of materials, equipment, and labor, scheduling work, and overseeing landscape crews to maximize productivity and minimize waste. This may involve sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment maintenance, and optimizing workflow processes.
  • Project execution entails supervising the installation of landscaping elements, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Effective client communication is essential, serving as the primary point of contact, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Quality control involving regular site inspections, implementing measures to maintain high standards, and resolving problems. Accurate documentation and reporting of contracts, warranties, permits, invoices, and progress are necessary, as is preparing project reports and documenting changes.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.


Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Project Management or related field and 4 years' experience in landscape construction management, horticulture, or related area OR 6 years' experience in construction management, landscaping, horticulture, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have 3 years in landscape construction and experienced in reading designs and skilled in plant layout, natural and artificial turf management, pond management, pavers, storm water management, landscape enhancement, drainage, irrigation, winter storm mitigation and customer service.
