Job Summary
The University of Kentucky invites applications for a full-time tenure-track open-rank faculty position in the area of translational neuroscience/ vascular cognitive impairment. We seek a collaborative neuroscientist with expertise in vascular contributions to cognitive impairment and dementia and who focuses on development of novel biomarkers and therapeutic approaches for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Research interests on fundamental mechanisms of cerebrovascular small vessel disease in animal models of neurodegenerative disorders, development and use of fluid biomarkers to measure neurodegenerative disease progression, target engagement, analytic stratification, and/or biological responses to a therapeutic intervention would fit particularly well into our research team.
