Senior Manager, Global Communications, Content and Channels

Location: Bentonville, AR

In this role, you'll play a major part in telling Walmart's story to the world - and the world's story to Walmart. You will work across the International communications team to identify and generate content that highlights associates, business innovations, and Walmart's positive impact on the communities we serve around the globe. This role also will help to coordinate the content for our social and digital channels, act as point to ensure that International's website is up-to-date and rich with fascinating content, and assist with executive communications. The individual in this role must possess strong writing chops, a keen understanding of how best to use digital and social channels, boundless curiosity, and the intellectual agility to assist with a variety of communications on a variety of topics.

About Corporate Affairs at Walmart

This role is part of Walmart International Communications and reports to the Director of Executive Communications. The position is embedded, along with the majority of the Walmart International Communications Team, with the International Support Team located in Bentonville, AR.

Role responsibilities:

  • Develop a steady cadence of unique content.
  • Find creative ways to tell stories and determine the best way to reach and engage target audiences.
  • Contribute to International's newsletter and other internal communications.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the business.
  • Assist with executive preparation for events and helping to produce content for use in speeches, presentations and talking points.


What you'll bring:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 4 years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area OR 6 years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area.
