We are looking for a Scheduler to join our team in supporting the IFMC Program office.

The position will be responsible for all aspects of creating a maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for this project. They will be required to facilitate meetings and work one-on-one to ascertain project activities, resources, requirements, predecessors, successors, impacts, milestones, etc.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Applying scheduling theory to develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related artifacts in compliance with scheduling best practices and applicable standards. ·
  • Implementing program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule.
  • Applying strong communication skills with the ability to work with the functional areas to identify and maintain all scheduled tasks and dependencies.
  • In conjunction with the Project Manager, and with input from the cross-functional team, generate, publish, and maintain an accurate Master Schedule, using MS Project, showing the tasks and resources required to deliver on time, per customer requirements and milestones.
  • Working closely with PMO, development, operations, and other project teams to develop detailed schedules, and keep these schedules current and seamlessly integrated into the Master Schedule.
  • Providing hands-on development of layered schedules detailing how a specific project is progressing including how the project contributes to overarching program requirements and objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining linkages, dependencies, and inter-dependencies with related projects.
  • Ensuring internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
  • Identifying major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle, and other project events. · Identifying critical path and task dependencies.
  • Setting and maintaining the baseline schedule and tracking all changes to the baselined schedule every week.
  • Performing ‘what if' scenarios within the schedule.
  • Performing schedule estimating through elicitation of team members and other stakeholders to capture estimations of new work, updated actuals, and remaining work.
  • Championing and supporting continuous Risk Mitigation and Issue Management through schedule analysis.
  • Generating schedule reports based on planned vs actual work.
  • Providing your skills and expertise to relevant proposal efforts such as contract re-competes and new contract bids as needed.

At a minimum you should have:

  • An active SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with:
    • MS Project and Milestone Professional.
    • Scheduling theory and related best practices.
    • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture.
  • Understanding of Critical Path.
  • Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment.
  • Be a self-starter who drives positive change and process improvements for our organization.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 -$90,000

The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
