The Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist is a dynamic, multi-functional HR professional responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle and providing comprehensive human resources support. This role will be responsible for handling sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new talent while also supporting employee relations, compliance, and general HR initiatives within designated areas of the division. As a key member of the PAE HR team, the Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist will collaborate with department managers to ensure effective workforce planning, employee development, and a positive work environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of HR best practices, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition and employee relations. Key responsibilities include:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various roles across the division.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide expert guidance on recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding.

Onboarding:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are well-integrated into the division.
  • Prepare and facilitate new hire orientation sessions and assist with the setup of necessary documentation.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a resource for employee inquiries, resolving issues related to performance, conduct, and workplace dynamics.
  • Support managers with conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and terminations when necessary.

HR Compliance & Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including maintaining proper documentation and reporting.
  • Assist in updating and enforcing department HR policies and procedures.

Training & Development:

  • Work with the HR Director to identify training needs and develop programs that support employee growth and development.
  • Support performance management processes, including conducting performance reviews and coaching managers.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

  • Track and report key HR metrics, including recruitment data, employee turnover, and compliance updates.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve HR processes within the division.

Job Summary

Provides advice and guidance on all phases of human resources, serves as a consultant to people managers and unit leadership, and manages recruitment strategy and coordinates the interview process. Facilitates trainings, provides strategic planning and budgeting guidance, and performs complex data analysis for senior management.
