Your role:

We are now looking for a SHEQ and BCM Lead for the Central Eastern Europe Cluster . This role is responsible for overseeing the safety, health, environmental/energy, and quality requirements of our operations, as well as business continuity in 4 countries (CZ,HU,SK, PL). The ideal candidate will identify potential threats, assess their impact, and develop strategies to ensure the continued operation of critical business functions in the event of a disruption or crisis.

What will we do together?
  • Collaborate with the CEE Operations Excellence team to deliver the Supply Chain strategy and ensure consistent implementation of safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards across all operations.
  • Manage and continuously improve the SHEQ management system, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices, including updating procedures, instructions, and risk management processes.
  • Take a proactive, hands-on approach to ensuring safety and quality with best-in-class standards, aligned with corporate objectives and policies.
  • Conduct audits and inspections, lead incident investigations, identify root causes, implement preventive measures, and support operational teams in addressing hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety, health, environmental, and quality performance. Be a key contact for customers,  ensuring readiness for audits and meeting their requirements.
  • Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics, trends, and compliance, and act proactively on improvement opportunities if necessary.
  • Stay informed on relevant regulations, standards, and emerging trends, ensuring their integration into company practices.
  • Improve and maintain emergency response plans (BCM) and management strategies, train crisis management teams and employees, conduct regular testing, identify critical processes, and develop business impact analyses and recovery strategies.
  • Ensure progress in project management, particularly in the development of new businesses and operations.

Who are we looking for?

  • Leadership skills, proactive and enthusiastic approach, with strong communication, analytical.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Managemanet of H&S experience.
  • Experience in an operational or process optimization role within a manufacturing, logistics, automotive, or similar industry.
  • In-depth understanding of industry standards and certifications (ISO and related) for quality management and regulatory compliance.Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards is preferred.
  • University degree in relevant SHEQ and BCM disciplines.
  • Proven experience in SHEQ management and business continuity planning.
  • Fluency in English.
