What you'll do...
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
We are hiring a Pharmacy Maintenance Associate for our Plainfield, IN location.
Shift Details:
- 1st shift must have availability between the hours of 6am to 4:30pm and will work 4 days per week, including weekends.
- 2nd shift must have availability between the hours of 12pm to 10:30pm and will work 4 days per week, including weekends.
- 3rd shift must have availability between the hours of 8pm to 6:30am and will work 4 days per week, including weekends
Pay Details:
- $31.30/hour base pay
- 2nd shift will receive $2.00 per hour shift differential
- 3rd shift will receive $3.00 per hour shift differential
Minimum Qualifications: - One year experience working in an industrial, production, or manufacturing environment repairing or maintaining optical, mechanical, or electrical equipment in an industrial setting
- Outstanding communication skills
- Relationship and stakeholder management techniques
- Able to explain the reasoning behind decisions
- Effectively engage at all levels in well thought out conversation that takes a position
Preferred Qualifications: 3 years' experience
repairing or maintaining optical, mechanical, or electrical equipment in an industrial setting, construction, production, or manufacturing environment.
The job duties include: Electrical Systems and Controls: - Understand wiring schematics and electrical inspection procedures
- Identify electrical design concepts and techniques used in supply chain
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot and navigate control systems
Influential Communication: - Communicate credibly and concisely within scope
- Present to and influence team members and business partners
- Utilize relevant data and fact-based information to articulate results
- Seek and provide constructive feedback
Operational Excellence: - Explain operational functions and key roles within assigned department
- Describe the interdependence of support functions and line operating functions
- Identify primary operational functions of the organization
- Locate and understand One Best Way and Standard Operating Procedure information
Partnership & Collaboration: - Support the development of business cases and recommendations
- Own delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others
- Support process updates and changes

Data & Digital Literacy: - Gather and interpret data in a digital environment
- Analyze and create reports using existing models/templates
- Apply digital techniques and tools for effective representation of data to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for improving data-driven decision-making
Negotiation: - Prepare and compile relevant information for use in negotiations
- Understand negotiating position, key drivers/levers, and desired outcomes
- Effectively engage in well-thought-out conversations that take a position
Custodial Activities: - Use cleaning equipment, agents, and techniques to clean dirt, sterilize supplies, and dispose waste in assigned areas
- Perform routine cleaning, disinfecting tasks, and deep cleaning and sanitation projects
- Follow checklists of cleanliness standards and requirements in compliance with applicable environment codes and regulations
Schematics and Technical Drawings: - Describe common drafting conventions, tools, procedures, and processes
- Identify basic functions and features of a design and visualization system
- Interpret blueprints and computer drawings and specifications produced by equipment vendor partners.

The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00-$20.65*
