Continuous Improvement Specialist Co-Op - Spring 2025

Job Description:

Our site in Colorado Springs is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. This role is required to be onsite 40 hours per week from January - June 2025.

Compensation: $23 - 30/hr depending upon experience and educational level.

In This Role You Will:

  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics and troubleshoot manufacturing/business and operational issues.

  • Facilitate training/workshops to drive cultural change.

  • Complete advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping.

  • Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations, and reviews to drive results to ensure change is sustainable.

  • Lead cost reduction goals - monthly and annually.

  • Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to monitor and evaluate effectiveness of new equipment installations.??????

  • Productivity Studies, to compare daily actual vs. standard output, identify processes bottleneck and recommend methods for productivity’s improvement

You're a Good Fit If You Have:

  • Strong problem analysis/solving skills as well as verbal and written communication skills is highly desired

  • Professional certification, either in Six Sigma or in a related process-improvement skill

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full - time basis.


Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree level with majors in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

  • Graduating in 2025/2026
