DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver / Dray person to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
• Monday to Friday Early Am starts 0500-0700 , very physical work delivering Beer Kegs and other alcoholic products .
• Working as part of a two person team delivering alcohol to licensed premises with a great deal of manual handling .
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card .
• Must be physically fit as very manual work
• Experience preferred within the dray person industry or within a similar environment .
