Job Title: SharePoint Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain government agency public trust.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 wage range. You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on experience, skillset, and geographical location.


AttainX is seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in SharePoint development, customization, and integration using various technologies. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized SharePoint solutions that align with business needs. This role will also involve collaborating with other developers, administrators, and stakeholders to create efficient, user-friendly solutions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development, including SharePoint Object Model (OM), SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath.
  • Expertise in programming languages and frameworks: C#, .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, XML, XSLT, XPath, REST API, and PowerShell.
  • 5+ years’ experience in developing and deploying SharePoint solutions using Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint governance and information architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and hybrid environments.
  • Understanding of SharePoint workflows, forms, and business process automation.
  • Ability to create and implement custom SharePoint branding and design elements.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and SharePoint databases.
  • Ability to conduct data gathering, research, and analysis, design and develop recommendations, and communicate through briefings and written documents.
  • Must have problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to resolve complex SharePoint issues.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, team members, and end users.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for building modern SharePoint experiences.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate (Flow) and Power Apps for custom solutions and workflows.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, MS, Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Microsoft SharePoint Developer certification.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a security clearance public trust background check.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint solutions, including sites, web parts, workflows, and applications.
  • Customize and extend SharePoint functionalities using technologies such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, XML, XSLT, XPath, REST API, PowerShell, and SharePoint Object Model (OM).
  • Create and maintain SharePoint-based business solutions, including custom forms and workflows using tools like InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.
  • Develop, code, and implement custom integrations with external systems through SharePoint APIs and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end users to gather requirements, create project specifications, and deliver solutions.
  • Implement SharePoint branding and customization to enhance user experience and align with organizational standards.
  • Build and maintain custom SharePoint web parts and event receivers.
  • Support SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and configurations as needed.
  • Test and debug SharePoint applications to ensure high performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the SharePoint Administrator to ensure the smooth integration of custom features within the SharePoint environment.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation for all custom SharePoint solutions.
