YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Crew Planner you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operations of our flight crew schedules. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing crew utilization, balancing rosters and automating processes to enhance efficiency. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence.

Optimization:

  • Ensure optimal and efficient duty coverage and overall roster balance, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement

Cross-Department Coordination:

  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate training schedules, office duties, meetings, network capacity planning and fleet projections into crew rosters

Automation and Innovation:

  • Drive the automation of flight crew roster production and leave planning processes, fostering innovation within the team

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Participate in workshops, meetings and projects contributing your expertise to enhance flight crew planning and rostering practices

YOUR TASKS:

Roster Management:

  • Develop and publish advanced flight crew rosters in alignment with legislative regulations, union agreements and internal policies

Leave Planning:

  • Manage annual flight crew leave planning, adhering to external and internal regulations

Data Analysis:

  • Provide valuable data, insights and statistics to support decision-making and operational planning

Ad-hoc Adjustments:

  • Work closely with day-to-day crewing teams to make necessary adjustments, ensuring alignment with network and capacity requirements

YOUR PROFILE:

Experience:

  • preferred proven experience in flight crew planning. Experience as a Crew Scheduler/Controller can also be considered.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of legislative regulations (EASA FTL) and union agreements

Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on optimization and efficiency

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in automation tools and software related to roster production. Working knowledge of AIMS is an advantage.

Communication:

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is an asset
