Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off – 06:00-18:00

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to play a vital role providing administrative support to the management team in our transport department.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

• Monitoring and managing timed store deliveries and trunks highlighting issues to the Transport Controller.
• Manage front desk - brief & de brief drivers runs and issue required paperwork
• Ensure all required vehicles are available throughout the day and action any reported defects immediately
• Maintain service schedules ensuring that all O license commitments are met.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Experience within a transport operation (desirable)
• Previous experience of data input and admin duties
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office)
