Network Administrator - Military veterans preferred

RMC is hiring a Network Administrator to support a Hybrid Cloud environment at NSWC Dahlgren. This candidate will be responsible for assisting with infrastructure planning, maintenance and troubleshooting within a fast-paced DoD Cloud environment.

• Five (5) years’ experience deploying various network configurations, devices, software and services that provide maximum and efficient performance local (LANs) and wide area network (WANs).
• Three (3) years’ experience providing assurance to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of networks.
• Three (3) years’ experience troubleshooting and supporting computer solutions, associated software and hardware, network, server, and PC, as relating to network infrastructure.
• Three (3) years’ experience creating and maintaining documentation of the network.
• Two (2) years’ experience performing hardware repairs for equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
• Knowledge of multiple IT environments including server and cloud-based platforms.
• Knowledge and comprehension of secure build techniques, tools and practices of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).

Required Certifications:

• CCNP (Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position requires IAT Level II or higher certification).
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate is strongly desired. Certification will be required to obtain and maintain within 90 days of employment.

Required Clearance:

• An Interim DoD secret security clearance is required to start.
• Applicant must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Selected applicant may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
