The Clemson University College of Arts and Humanities seeks highly qualified candidates to fill course instruction needs in the Department of Philosophy & Religion. This part-time opportunity to teach one or more courses is available on an as-needed basis. Courses may be offered in spring, summer, and/or fall terms and be offered in one or more modalities ranging from in-person to asynchronous online. The start date varies according to departmental teaching needs.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and be able to teach standard lower-level “gen ed” courses such as Introduction to Religion, World Religions, and Global Challenges and Religion, as well as courses in New Testament and Christianity.
