Position Overview:
We are looking for a Test Automation Developer to design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
Collaborate with software developers and QA analysts to understand product requirements and create test plans.
Integrate automated tests with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the automation framework and test scripts.
Document test procedures, results, and any defects discovered during testing.
Stay current with the latest industry trends and tools in test automation and software development practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in test automation development.
Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
Strong coding skills in languages like Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain test frameworks tailored to specific application needs.
Evaluate and integrate new testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Create and manage a repository of reusable test scripts to reduce redundancy and improve test maintenance.
Work with the development team to ensure that test automation strategies align with the software development workflow.
Develop custom tools or utilities to handle test data generation, test result analysis, and reporting.
Implement and maintain automated regression test suites to be run as part of the deployment process.
Conduct code reviews of automated tests to ensure adherence to coding and framework standards.
Provide training and support to QA team members on the effective use of test automation frameworks and tools.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to optimize the test automation infrastructure for speed and reliability.
Stay informed about advancements in test automation technologies and apply best practices to the existing framework.
