Position Overview:

We are looking for a Test Automation Developer to design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
  • Collaborate with software developers and QA analysts to understand product requirements and create test plans.
  • Integrate automated tests with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the automation framework and test scripts.
  • Document test procedures, results, and any defects discovered during testing.
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and tools in test automation and software development practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in test automation development.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
  • Strong coding skills in languages like Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test frameworks tailored to specific application needs.
  • Evaluate and integrate new testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create and manage a repository of reusable test scripts to reduce redundancy and improve test maintenance.
  • Work with the development team to ensure that test automation strategies align with the software development workflow.
  • Develop custom tools or utilities to handle test data generation, test result analysis, and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain automated regression test suites to be run as part of the deployment process.
  • Conduct code reviews of automated tests to ensure adherence to coding and framework standards.
  • Provide training and support to QA team members on the effective use of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to optimize the test automation infrastructure for speed and reliability.
  • Stay informed about advancements in test automation technologies and apply best practices to the existing framework.
