Job Description:
* Handle full set of shipping documents (PSA/Customs/Tradenet/Portnet).
* Ensure proper cut-off procedures at month-end closing.
* Handle day-to-day operations and transactions in the forwarding area.
* Data entries (CW1).
* Communicate actively with Global Shared Services (GSC) to ensure draft BL send timely and accurately to customers.
* Intervene Global Shared Services (GSC) if any amendment needed for the draft BL.
* Send pre-alerts and shipping advice to customers and DGF overseas offices.
* Ensure timely dispatch of shipping documents to customers and DGF overseas offices.
* To be aware of the Company’s Objectives, Target and Programs so as to contribute towards the company’s intended results.
* To be aware of the environmental aspects and its impact in the daily course of work and take measures to minimize any significant impacts.
* Implement/Assist to implement operational controls of activities with environmental aspects having significant impacts on the environment.
* Any other jobs as and when assigned.
Requirements:
* Must possess Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Business or any equivalent field of studies.
* At least 2 years of working experience logistics industry.
* Candidate must have knowledge in ocean freight logistic operation process.
* Skills require: Excellent in Analytical skills, Computer literate, Sharp in numbers and proactive in problem solving.
* Attributes require: Commitment to Excel, Communication skill and ability to influence others.
