Executive, Customer Service (JHB) - Military veterans preferred

Job Description:
* Overall in charge for the day-to-day operations for both systems and physical operation.
* To execute shipments and follow through in timely manner.
* Proactively update to clients for shipments status, responsiveness to clients’ enquiries.
* Responsible to achieving Customer target/KPI and expectations.
* Attend and respond to all issues (via e-mails or written correspondences pertaining to warehouse operation and to ensure all queries from are attended to.
* To prepare and ensure all daily, weekly and monthly reports are submitted promptly and correctly.
* To support and tackle customers escalations in timely manner.
* Responsible for daily planning of the operations.
* To gather and check all required documentation and reports prepared by subordinates.
* To ensure that prompt feedback regarding any work-related problems/issues encountered.
* To ensure that any other work-related duties given is completed within the specified timeline.
* To ensure compliance to customers and others relevant authorities and operating instructions.
* To ensure two ways communication with management level.
* To manage, monitor and ensure proper filing for the job completed.
* To achieve a good result in internal & external audits
* To perform any other duties assigned by immediate superiors.

Requirements:
* Must possess Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Business or any equivalent field of studies.
* At least 2 years of working experience logistics industry.
* Candidate must have knowledge in ocean freight logistic operation process.
* Skills require: Excellent in Analytical skills, Computer literate, Sharp in numbers and proactive in problem solving.
* Attributes require: Commitment to Excel, Communication skill and ability to influence others.
