Academic and Administrative Coordinator
The coordinator will provide professional administrative support to the department chair, program directors, and staff in Occupational Therapy. The coordinator will work closely with the program director to oversee the administrative and academic aspects of the Doctor of Clinical Science (CScD) degree and advanced practice certificate programs. The coordinator will also manage communications and public relations efforts for the OT department.
Department Details Pitt's highly acclaimed Department of Occupational Therapy offers four degree programs. Our entry-level degree program is currently ranked #1 in the nation according to the latest surveys of Best Graduate Schools by U.S. News & World Report. Our faculty help shape the future of occupational therapy through research and service on national and regional professional committees and our students give back to the community by engaging in a variety of community service activities.
Performs various administrative and student services duties in support of a school. Facilitates human resources recruiting support for faculty, staff, and students; student registration; coordination of teaching schedules; and other related faculty and student services.
Must be able to use a computer, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe, and have a working knowledge of University Policies and Procedures.
Position is sedentary: must be able to sit for multiple hours per day. Must be able to reach and bend for office supplies and files. Must be able to lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
