Shift patterns: 5 off 7 ( 6:00 -14:00/ 14:00 -22:00)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Team Leader to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing transport activities and performance in your designated area
• To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports
• To ensure that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
• To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system
• Ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment (desirable)
• For this role you need to have previous experience within and completing Admin tasks
• Experience within a Transport for warehouse environment (desirable)
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
• Good Communication skills and ability to leade effectively
