Job Title: 3D Designer
Work Location: 100% remote; must be authorized to work and based in the United States

Description
We're looking for proficient 3D Artists, who can work in a variety of areas such as 3D modeling, texturing, rendering environments, compositing, and lighting to create exciting and innovative experiences in 3D. The ability to work within and across, interdependent teams is a must, so the right person will have an implicit understanding of the balance needed between artistry, communication, and partnership. The ideal candidate will be accomplished in working with a variety of 2D and 3D software packages and demonstrate the ability in modeling and texturing static 3D objects. You must be able to build a near-perfect model from just a single or small set of photographs. The right candidate will be comfortable working with a creative team in a collaborative environment and consistently raising the bar on quality.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • The candidate will create and retouch 3D assets and materials for use in web-based, real-time applications, and photo realistic renderings
  • Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity
  • Continuously improve workflows and processes
  • Highly proficient in rendering and retouching 3D renders to accentuate photo-realism
  • Highly proficient in architectural rendering and product visualization
  • Create 3D animations and videos
  • Possess a strong understanding of lighting, mapping and cameras.
  • Able to read 2D CAD drawings.
  • Collaborate with creative team to create workload estimates, project timelines, and coordinate projects end to end
  • Be able to excel in a fast-paced collaborative production environment

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional animation/motion graphics experience
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing your commercial/corporate video work
  • Experience developing project briefs and scripts into storyboards
  • Able to Receive feedback from creative team and sales managers, and editing your creations based on the comments received
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
  • Ability to follow brand design guidelines with a keen eye for detail
  • Have a broad understanding of typography, period & current styles and design theory
  • Strong working knowledge of industry-standard software, including V-Ray, SketchUp, and Maya.
  • Willingness to remain up-to-date on the latest creative software and hardware.
