Prof. Mohammad Masnadi is recruiting a post-doctoral research associate to do collaborative research on enhancing an LCA tool that has been developed in our research team for the past decade. The aim is to make smarter LCA tools via data-driven approaches, which ultimately results in better user-software interaction and improves the fidelity of emissions estimate results. We especially encourage candidates with demonstrated capabilities or experience in data science and data analytics, machine learning, statistical analysis, probabilistic modeling, life-cycle assessment, reservoir simulation, energy systems modeling, systems optimization, and programming with Python.

Qualifications for the position:

- Ph.D. in a STEM field
- Strong background in data processing, modeling, simulation
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
