Warehouse Operative - Military veterans preferred

Pay Rate: £22, 308.00 + additional shift premium
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, rotational shift - 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm

Location: Skelmersdale - WN8 8DY

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a number of experienced Warehouse Operatives to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
• be responsible for picking specified items from storage or warehouses and prepare them for shipment.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures
• Must have some Manual Handling equipment experience, ideally VNA, Reach or Counterbalance truck trained - or willing to undertake VNA training
• VNA is working at height within the warehouse - must be comfortable working at height
