Summary
Trailer Bridge is looking for energetic, self-motivated go-getters to join and be part of our fast-growing logistics business. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for analysis of Trailer Bridge's Logistics Division.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide data analytics for internal Carrier Management program.
  • Create analytics for pricing strategy and evaluation of pricing effectiveness.
  • Strong proficiency working with Excel Pivot Tables and Charts, VLOOKUP, Functions, and Formulas. Knowledge of SQL and Power BI a plus.
  • Remain a Point of contact for third party TMS carrier tools and compliance.
  • Analyze, build, and maintain analytics to monitor productivity around key metrics.
  • KPI and reporting creation, implementation and monitoring.
  • Facilitation of EDI setups, working with our customers and vendors to automate shipment information.
  • Create and Improve carrier booking and carrier scorecard SOP's.
  • Work with branch network to match carrier partners with customer opportunities.
  • Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
  • Communicate new carrier providers opportunities to Logistic Branches.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 + years of proven experience in (3PL) Third-Party Logistics operations with focus on building and maintaining carrier relationships or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive approach to analyzing, diagnosing, and prescribing business solutions to meet company goals
  • Ability to travel and connect with and coordinate between key customers and internal/external stakeholders
  • Experience leveraging technology enabled solutions a plus
  • Strong oral, written communications and presentation skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications
  • Exemplary communication skills both oral and written
  • Consistently meets deadlines
  • Creative and driven to find or create solutions
