About the Role:

As a Professional Services Consultant specializing in Aptean Ross ERP, you will play a vital role in guiding our clients through the complexities of financial and manufacturing processes within their ERP systems. Your areas of expertise will encompass:

• Financial Management and General Ledger Expertise: Implementing and optimizing General Ledger module, ensuring accurate financial data recording, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. You will guide clients in setting up complex financial structures within Ross ERP, including multi-entity, multi -currency management, consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Cost Accounting: Providing expert advice on managing and analyzing manufacturing costs within Ross ERP. You will assist clients in setting up cost centers, tracking product costs, and analyzing cost variances to drive profitability and cost efficiency.
• Implementation of Financial and Distribution Modules: Ensuring seamless integration between the financial management components of Ross ERP and other modules like AP, AR, Sales order processing, Purchase Order processing and inventory control. This role involves aligning financial data with operational metrics for comprehensive business analysis. Understanding of concepts around pricing and promotions, as well vendor management processes.
• Custom Financial Reporting and Analysis: Utilizing Ross ERP’s reporting tools to create custom financial reports and dashboards. You will help clients interpret financial data to make informed business decisions, identify trends, and forecast future financial performance.
• Training and Adhoc services: Providing training to clients on financial modules of Ross ERP and Advanced Reporting ensuring they are proficient in using the system for their financial operations. You will also offer ongoing support and consultation to resolve any financial system-related issues.

About you

• Relevant Experience: 3+ years of experience in ERP consulting, or a similar platform. Experience in finance, (GL,AP and AR modules) cost accounting, project accounting, inventory, Sales processing, and Purchase order processing is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in ERP systems, including an understanding of system configuration, customization, and integration.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes and provide effective solutions within the ERP framework.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying current with the latest developments in ERP technologies and manufacturing best practices.
