Job Title: Head of Culture & Team (Director of HR)

Job Summary: The Head of Culture & Team will play a crucial role in shaping and nurturing our organizational culture while championing our most valuable asset – our people. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be a key member of the Company's extended leadership team, offering strategic guidance, providing actionable insights, and delivering execution to drive the company's overall success.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Culture Development and Alignment:

  • Develop and execute strategies to promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with the company's values and objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of talent acquisition, from workforce planning and recruitment to onboarding and retention strategies.
  • Partner with department heads to identify talent needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Implement programs to support professional growth and development, including training, mentorship, and career progression opportunities.

Employee Relations and Well-being:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Handle employee relations matters effectively and confidentially, fostering a culture of trust and respect.
  • Develop and implement programs to support employee well-being, including mental health initiatives, wellness programs, and work-life balance initiatives.

Performance Management and Rewards:

  • Lead the design and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Develop and administer competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure alignment between performance, recognition, and rewards to motivate and retain top talent.

HR Operations and Compliance:

  • Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures that promote fairness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, recommending adjustments to policies and practices as needed.
  • Management of the HR Business Partner teams

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 – 7 years of progressive HR experience, with 1 – 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR programs and initiatives that drive organizational culture and employee engagement.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives and deliver results.
