Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Description:
This position will serve as the Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer for the Agile Combat Support (ACS) Directorate supporting multi-specialty teams to achieve results in aircraft development, production, and sustainment in the Support Equipment & Vehicles division. World-class people providing support equipment and vehicles vital to our Nation's ability to fly, fight and win.
Specific duties include:
Provide technical assistance to resolve system engineering and maintenance concerns with the production facility. Monitor technical data, manuals, and engineering changes for accuracy and adequacy, and assist in performing technical evaluations and factory quality oversight. Work with company and USAF engineers, along with DCMA quality assurance, to evaluate quality assurance for manufacturing and delivery of operational systems.
Required Skills/Education: Minimum twenty five (25) years' experience in functional area and possess a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to functional area; or a relevant Master's degree and twenty (20) years' experience in functional area; At least five (12) years of that experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects.
