PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, providing solutions, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality products and services on behalf of Anderson Dahlen.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and feedback.

Account Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development) to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to meet client requirements.
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular reports and updates to clients.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement account strategies to drive growth and achieve client objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
  • Analyze client data and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Issue Resolution:

  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and develop solutions to prevent or mitigate them.

Contract and Budget Management:

  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Manage budgets and ensure that account activities remain within financial constraints.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, project progress, and account activities.
  • Prepare and present reports on account performance, project status, and other relevant metrics.


Requirements:

QUALITIFCATIONS FOR ENTRY:

Education: 4-year college degree preferred; 2 years associated + experience acceptable

Experience: Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role

Basic experience with Microsoft Xcel, Word, and Outlook

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The company fosters a manufacturing type environment. This position will primarily involve operating a computer at a desk in an office environment.
