Description
Leidos is seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Team Lead to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth Estate Agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a group of engineers in the digital transformation of DISA to align with their cloud-first, cloud-native strategy in the management of Windows endpoints. The Intune Engineering Lead will oversee the migration and management of Windows endpoints to be joined to EntraID and co-managed with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune.

Primary Responsibilities
Provide thought leadership and mentoring to team of UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) engineers, including frequent collaboration with engineering, operations and agencies to plan and execute end user onboarding
Design and implement UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) solutions that meet end user requirements. Create and manage policies for application deployment, device compliance, and security configurations
Continually identify opportunities for improvement, including innovations in the UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) domain aimed at improving the user experience, improving efficiencies, and lowering sustainment costs
Enforce security best practices and guidelines, leveraging knowledge of security policies, network security, and data security
Initiate frequent interactions with the team of UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) engineers to identify areas of improvement and facilitate their career growth, including participation in annual performance reviews
Manage the migration of Windows endpoints to be joined to EntraID and co-managed with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune
Lead the design, architecture, and migration strategy to transition all Endpoints (Windows/MacOS) within the classified network to become cloud joined and cloud managed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship required)
Expertise in the migration of Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune
Expertise in the deployment and management of UEM (Unified Endpoint Management)/MDM technologies, specifically Microsoft Intune
Experience managing teams of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication and collaboration across the team
Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC), utilizing continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, and leveraging automation platforms such as Ansible or Azure Functions
Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA
Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team, aided by strong written and verbal communication skills
Current IAT Level II (or higher) Certification such as Security + or CISSP
Preferred Qualifications
Possess an active DoD Secret clearance
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Intune Expert
Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence
