Full Stack Developer - Remote

CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong understanding of AWS services. You will be responsible for modernizing an existing application by designing, developing, and deploying applications using AWS tools and services. This will be a Remote role, and candidates MUST have an active SECRET Clearance.

The Software Developer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyze legacy data and processes to recommend a development plan for a new application using AWS tools and services.
  • Analyze user and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time constraints.
  • Apply coding and testing best practices.
  • Apply secure code documentation.
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and other stakeholders to address application performance requirements.
  • Develop secure code and error handling.
  • Evaluate factors such as required reporting formats required and ability to share data/processes.
  • Incorporate security into the design and implementation (i.e. DevSecOps concepts).
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Lambda).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
  • AWS Certified Developer.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiar with MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle databases
  • CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, HTML, and APIs

Desired Skills

  • Certified Scrum Master.
  • Experience developing in an AWS cloud environment.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • 3+ Years Experience
  • US Citizen
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • AWS certification
