Job Description Job Description This role will contribute to the sales team by allowing them to spend more time selling. The Expeditor will provide a variety of sales support services which will include the input of sales orders into the ERP system as well as the development and execution of an effective sales filing system and inventory control. The Expeditor will work directly with team management to ensure that all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are operating effectively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain active client & inventory files Facilitate bid replies Input sales orders into Global Shop (ERP system) Assist in sales process where needed Inventory Control must provide own safety glasses and steel-toed boots Position Requirements 2 years Warehouse or inventory management experience is required 2 years inside sales or sales support is preferred, but not required Experience using Global Shop or other ERP system is helpful Experience in excel High school diploma or GED equivalency WPM 35 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have proficiency in MS Office/Excel/Word Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Must have strong attention to detail Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • must be able to communicate professionally with multiple personality types • must be a good self-manager, and work well with limited supervision Working Environment Work outdoors, but some workers may work indoors. Are often exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures when working outdoors. Are sometimes exposed to contaminants, such as fumes from paints or sealers. Operating hand tools, machinery, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Physical and Mental Requirements Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
