Insurance Account Manager - Military veterans preferred

Job Description Job Description Our growing firm is seeking an organized and friendly account manager to play a strategic role on our team. You’ll be responsible for answering any client questions or concerns about coverage, policy changes, and billing deadlines. Our ideal candidate will be able to provide an excellent customer experience and demonstrate a basic understanding of our insurance products. Apply to join the team today Compensation: $50,000 yearly dependent on experience Responsibilities: Consult with clients to help process quotes and issue renewals or any updates needed to current policies Answer clients completely on policy or billing questions including explanations about their coverage or rate adjustments to ensure total understanding Record any policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our book of business and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage Stay up to date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly speaking with our industry partners so you can help clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team understand and address the latest rules and policy updates Gather all documentation needed for reporting a claim and contact an adjuster to process it against a current policy Qualifications: Follow up skill, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills are a must in this role Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is preferred but we will provide training as needed for the right fit and skillset Must have active insurance license in your state or must be willing to get licensed in 90 days Candidates should have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.) We are looking for candidates with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree but will consider those with relevant insurance industry experience, as well About Company Montgomery & Associates Insurance has been recognized by The Tennessean, The Nashville Business Journal, and the Nashville Scene as being one of the best insurance agencies in Nashville.
