Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Part Time person to assist with clerical tasks. We are a small medical boutique (DME- Durable Medical Equipment) specializing in Post Mastectomy and Lymphedema patients. Our office is well established. We have been in San Mateo since 1979. Even though we are small, we are an extremely busy office. Ideal candidate will work 3-4 days a week; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Hours: W-F 11am-4pm and Sat. 11am-3pm Qualifications: Strong Customer Service Skills Previous experience in sales or other related fields Excellent written and verbal communication skills; multi lingual is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to reprioritize Organized Work independently, yet be a team player Ability to build a rapport with customers and be discrete Strong negotiation skills High School Diploma Computer Skills/Data Entry Some medical experience and or medical terminology is a plus Willingness to learn Clean background check Covid-19 Vaccination preferred Responsibilities: Friendly Greet Clients Heavy Phones Book Appointment Confirm Appointments File Comfortable discussing sensitive personal medical issues Quickly identify customers' needs Fax Verify Insurance benefit coverage Relay Insurance benefit coverage clearly to client Explain clearly to customers our products, product warranty and services Assist Senior Sales Associate and Fitter in monitoring inventory to ensure product(s) is in stock Enter sales in computer program (QuickBooks) and collect payments (Clover) Batch Sales for the day Resolving customer complaints when they arise Light cleaning (dust, vacuum, trash)
