We’ve always been a resource for the whole community (kids, teens, adults, families, and couples), and are dedicated to providing specialized care from the ground up to serve a wide array of clinical needs. The percentage is commensurate with experience and caseload. Qualifications The following qualifications are desired for this role: Master’s Degree or Doctorate in social work, counseling, or psychology ( required ) Active Illinois licensure in the field or eligibility to sit for licensure (PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LSW) ( required ) 2 years of experience treating eating disorders in a treatment center, hospital, private practice, or agency setting Willing and able to see at least 25 client sessions per week Willing and able to work evenings and/or weekends An open mind and willingness to learn An appreciation for multicultural experiences and diversity In addition to excellent clinical skills, therapists who are self-directed yet team-oriented, eager to grow and develop their clinical skills, and supportive of other team members will be most successful at Life Insight. Primary Responsibilities Full-time therapists at Life Insight are responsible for maintaining an average caseload of 25-30 clients/week, with the caseload building over time to full-time capacity. Currently, our therapists reach a full caseload within 4-6 weeks. Job Duties The responsibilities of a Clinical Therapist at Life Insight include: Provide excellent clinical care Perform on-site clinical and teletherapy counseling sessions in accordance with company policies, with priority being given to teens and adults who have a history of eating disorders Complete session notes, treatment plans, communication records, and other clinical paperwork in a timely fashion in our easy to use EHR Formulate DSM 5 diagnoses, when needed and/or when appropriate Consult with other clinicians, health care providers, or professionals who may be part of the client’s treatment team, when necessary Attend required group supervision and staff meetings (required meetings are paid) Contribute to a team environment and supportive practice culture Embrace and reflect practice values toward clients and other team members To Apply Please visit our website to learn more about us and apply to join the team https://life-insight.com/come-work-with-us/ Life Insight’s Social: www.life-insight.com www.facebook.com/lifeinsightchicago www.instagram.com/lifeinsightchicago
