Position Summary:

The Document Imaging Assistant will perform various functions of the document conversion process. This can include a combination of preparing paper documents for conversion to digital images as well as scanning and data entry/indexing functionalities as needed.


Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:

  • Follow instructions on project set-up sheets.
  • Prepare documents by removing staples and fasteners from documents, document repair, and remove document from binders. This may include purging and sorting certain pages within the file.
  • Operation a variety of imaging equipment and utilize multiple types of software to effectively scan documents.
  • Executing production activities and priorities for customer projects.
  • Precisely complete indexing functions for scanning projects.
  • Examine documents and monitor processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Work with Production Manager and the team to resolve concerns, issues, or questions with projects.
  • Manage time spent on projects by accurately documenting scanning times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience:

  • Working with different types of scanners
  • Experience organizing and indexing documents

Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:

  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Above average keyboarding skills
