Marketing & Proposal Coordinator - Military veterans preferred

Job Description Job Description Under general supervision, assists Substation Engineering Company (SECo) upper management with marketing efforts, proposal activities and business development. Typical job duties include: Prepare qualification documents and client specific proposals and presentations with support of key personnel. Create/distribute company brochures, handouts and other marketing materials. Maintain/update company website. Coordinate online social media programs with off-line marketing activities including tradeshows, events, advertising, PR, etc. Organize and manage shipment of displays and materials for conferences, tradeshows and events. Attend the events and be responsible for table set up/display, handouts, greeting attendees. Manage inventory of printed materials, gifts and promotional items. Assist with the proposal development process with project managers, senior managers, discipline leads and project controls. Track when proposals are due and add them to the proposal calendar. Create RFP Job Numbers in the Company’s accounting software. Assist with document preparation and formatting using company templates, including proposals, marketing presentations, reports, transmittals, and correspondence. Ensure proper server folder organization and management. Maintain CRM to track business development activity by client. Maintain and update historical project database. Assist employees with resume preparation and manage annual updates. Distribute client feedback forms and summarize results. Assist Human Resources with recruitment and advertising campaigns. Desired Education, Experience and Training 1 to 5 years prior marketing or related experience. Highly competent using MS Office software (Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook). Highly competent in Photoshop. High level of proficiency in the preparation of documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be a self-starter able to prioritize multiple conflicting priorities, identifying the more important issues as they arise. Must demonstrate commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
