As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and guidance to our valued clients regarding automotive maintenance and repairs. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of automotive services. Responsibilities: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival. Listen attentively to customers' concerns and accurately document vehicle issues. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance. Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of work. Provide transparent and detailed explanations of recommended services, including cost estimates and timelines. Coordinate with parts department to ensure necessary components are available for repairs. Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the service process, keeping them informed of any changes or delays. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Utilize dealership software systems to manage service appointments, invoices, and customer records. Strive to meet or exceed individual and departmental sales targets through upselling of additional services and products. Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies, products, and services to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers. Uphold dealership standards of cleanliness and organization in the service advisor area. Requirements: Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor in a dealership setting. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in dealership software systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) preferred. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training a plus.
