JOB SUMMARY Responsible for advancing and securing sales in assigned territory using sales tools to grow market share. The Set Coordinator works directly with Heidelberg's retail customers by analyzing syndicated data and building shelf schematics in a way that best fits both internal and external customer objectives. Responsible for the efficient and effective managing of assigned chains as well as independent stores. This role will be expected to be tactically sound and strategic in plan development. This role is also responsible for analyzing industry sales trends and identifying opportunities using sales data that will assist internal managers, suppliers, and customers in attaining sales goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Shelf Set Process Management Manage projects by monitoring progress, resolving problems, coordinating all aspects of the process, and making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines Support our customer's shelf set development plan through every phase of the category review process, with a focus on client specific initiatives and goals Shelf Set Development Communicate opportunities and recommend fact-based action plans while working collaboratively with both internal and external customers Organize information logically by analyzing, interpreting, and classifying data from multiple data sources Data Analysis/Interpretation/Application Determine and quantify business opportunities and key drivers as they pertain to product placement and flow Focus on business opportunities by recommending assortment solutions based on applicable data Prioritize optimal assortment and product placement that supports the goals of our suppliers, customers, and company Evaluate source information by weighing raw data and organizing results for analysis Data Collection Provide shelf set information for suppliers, customers, and/or Heidelberg managers through the use of syndicated or customer-specific data sources Meet specific retailer needs by determining appropriate movement/performance data selection that includes share of shelf, days of supply, pack out, etc. Relationship Building Serve as a subject matter expert for key account(s), suppliers, and internal sales teams. Maintain strong working relationships with data suppliers. Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements. Expand relationships by continuously proposing new solutions. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High School diploma/GED required Business degree preferred or equivalent experience Experience using planogram software (JDA Space Planning, Apollo, Spaceman, etc.) Previous sales data analysis experience Working knowledge of syndicated/POS data sources Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills Solid communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with professionals at all levels Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Required to drive to multiple locations and maintain sufficient insurance. Must abide by all traffic and motor vehicle laws and regulations. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position operates in a professional office environment. Expected hours of work are Monday through Friday during the Company's regular business hours (8am- 5pm). Regular, consistent attendance is required. Dress code is business casual. While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; walk; climb stairs, sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools, or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers and phones; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
