Public Relations Development Coordinator - Military veterans preferred

Job Description Job Description The Public Relations Development Coordinator position will manage and coordinate projects associated with member engagement initiatives, young professionals network and new member cultivation and growth. The Public Relations Development Coordinator is a multi-faceted job function that requires resourcefulness, initiative, creative thought, the ability to work independently and more. To be successful, the candidate must: Work with the team to plan, develop and coordinate in-person and virtual events Communicate with members to better understand engagement initiatives through marketing, social media and website Work with team to create/implement resources and events for young professionals networks Manage and create monthly e-newsletter, as well as assist with copy for quarterly magazine Maintain and update website Interact with and educate business leaders (members/prospects) on the benefits of membership Support managing director responsible for running the business unit Think strategically and possess the ability to implement solutions where needed Travel Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate Strong management and interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills Strong writing skills Creative Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to effectively multitask Confidence in dealing with people and possessing a professional presence Solid customer service orientation with respect for diversity Great attention to detail Willingness to work in a small team environment Knowledge of databases and a familiarity with Microsoft Office products Sound judgment and excellent work ethic High level of integrity and business acumen Company Description First Resource builds and maintains sustainable solutions for Associations, Trade Groups, Societies and Non-Profit Networks.
