Job Description The Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) organization brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals, Treasury, and Government entities. We work closely with Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other players in the payments ecosystem to deliver these services. Our focus is to identify needs, assess opportunities, and quickly act upon our vision while ensuring successful product delivery. The Portfolio Operations team is part of the Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) Strategy and Operations organization. The Senior Manager, Portfolio Operations role will support the Senior Director in leading portfolio operations workstreams and cadences and driving our agile transformation journey across our global product and technology teams. The candidate will play a vital role as a change agent, partnering closely with global product leadership and portfolio teams to support continued adoption of Visa’s Transformation Reimagine Work efforts across the Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) and Money Movement Solutions (MMS) organizations. We are looking for a Lean Agile expert with extensive change leadership experience, a proven track record of implementing agile practices, and a history of driving efficiencies across product and technology delivery. This role will partner closely with our product and technology teams to lead transformation programs and portfolio operations deliverables across our global CMS organization. This role will be accountable for leading transformation efforts across the business while shaping the behaviors, processes, and practices that enable Visa to design, build and successfully launch new global solutions for our customers and clients. Essential Functions Lead the development and coordination of executive QBRs to report on delivery against our product roadmaps, highlight challenges and risks, and overall progress against CMS transformation priorities. Partner closely with product and portfolio leads within VCS and MMS to define templates, identify operational efficiencies, optimize processes, and define and standup new frameworks as needed. Become a Jira Align (JA) subject matter expert and partner with leads across CMS Product and Technology to optimize JA adoption, set up appropriate work hierarchies, and automate reporting. Lead the overall agile transformation effort across CMS including definition of OKRs and ownership of the roadmap. Work with senior leaders in Product and Technology and their supporting product delivery teams to define and assess options, and drive execution of the CMS Transformation roadmap. Represent CMS priorities while collaborating with the Central Product Operations team to align on Visa-wide transformation efforts, frameworks and processes. These efforts include quarterly published roadmaps in the Product Catalog, the Visa Product Lifecycle Methodology, and Product Taxonomy workstreams. Coordinate the development and implementation of holistic communications across CMS organizations throughout transformation effort. This includes close partnership with CMS Product and Technology teams to cascade processes and communication from the Central Product Operations team. Go beyond theory to develop and implement standardized agile mindsets, behaviors, and practices practically and pragmatically across CMS product and technology organizations. Provide coaching across all levels to adopt and apply agility and Lean Thinking and Agile practices to increase business value delivery. Create strategic alliances with our Technology team and other internal partners to define frameworks and reporting to accelerate adoption of the Visa Agility Framework. Provide a clear path to accomplish agile transformation outcomes and define quantitative frameworks to measure success, measure and track progress against Transformation OKRs. Remove barriers and create problem solving environments, highlight challenges to execution and seek leadership support as appropriate. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Qualifications Basic Qualifications • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD • A minimum of 8 years of successful experience in progressive leadership roles in Product or Services in Payments or Technology industries with a priority on global B2B, B2B2C service models. • Previous experience in a portfolio operations role producing dashboards, templates and content for executive reviews, and facilitating cross-functional meetings with leadership. • Consulting background with experience reengineering and optimizing processes, defining and rolling out new frameworks and defining quantitative success metrics. • Strategic ability to solve complex global, cross-functional issues exercising critical thinking and sound judgment. • Strong program management skills to coordinate and lead complex projects with cross-functional teams. • 5 years demonstrated a record of developing and implementing agility frameworks at scale that led to measurable results. - Passionate Agilist who knows the difference between Agile and Agility, and can explain it to audiences with less expertise. - Experienced applying Lean Thinking/Principles to business problems and create high agility solutions. - Experienced working in a fast-paced environment navigating ambiguity successfully, with minimal support. - Self-motivated and highly driven. Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 125,500 to 163,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
