Beyond our syndicated solutions, we also integrate and synthesize data to deliver unparalleled analytics and insights into various aspects of the 340B program and the pharmaceutical supply chain.
The IT Specialist position is a critical role within the IT organization and an invaluable resource for the BRG Second Sight Solutions professionals. This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with above average white glove customer service and technical skills. The right candidate will work diligently to support our customer base (aka BRG HAP Tech User) in a Mac and Windows environment (including virtual customers).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process for MacOS users, including setting up new devices and revoking access when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot general MacOS issues and interactions with Microsoft 365, centralized management software (Jamf, FileVault), and endpoint security software (Defender).
  • Collaborate with security team to provide continuous monitoring of MacBooks.
  • Assist end users with remediation of security findings.
  • Assist in managing user access across different software systems within 340B practice.
  • Manage standardized workstation software configurations across mac devices.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with IT policies and to identify potential security risks.
  • Manage updates and patches for MacOS and installed software, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
  • Develop and implement a disaster recovery plan for MacOS devices, including regular backups and data recovery procedures.
  • Communicate across teams and develop Employee Training
  • Research new software and hardware
  • Coordinate IT projects teams, schedule and organize upgrades and maintenance.
  • Support for Mac-based systems, with in-depth knowledge of MacOS, iOS, mobile device support, and technologies.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Apple computer and iOS hardware and software. Perform repairs on Apple computer and iOS hardware and software.
  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops and desktops, both remotely and onsite.
  • Manage Entra [formerly Active Directory (AD)], including creating and modifying user settings.
  • Effectively use ServiceNow ticketing system for incident management, customer interaction and follow-up.
  • Help HAP Tech team members with questions and issues regarding usage of industry standard commercial off the shelf (COTS) software applications. (The Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Windows 10 Operating System, Windows Autopilot, Intune, etc.)
  • Work with multiple platforms of technology and drive portions of those technologies with an emphasis on Apple technology.
  • Coordinate project actions with SSS Managing Director, Senior IT Service Manager and IT staff members, vendors and technical representatives, internal and external clients.
  • Troubleshoot mobile equipment, including tablets and smartphones.
  • Additional tasks may be required as directed by the Senior IT Service Manager.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-6 years of IT experience, working in a similar capacity.
  • VIP customer satisfaction focus. Great customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent and effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening. Must have a positive, professional attitude.
  • IT Service Management ticketing experience (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Ivanti, Jira, etc.)
  • The candidate should have hands-on experience with device management software such as Jamf. They should be able to deploy, configure, and manage Apple devices at scale, and understand IT security principles and privacy practices, how they apply to Apple environments and familiarity with encryption, two-factor authentication, and secure device management.
  • Experience in managing IT projects, including rollouts of new hardware and software, system upgrades, and migrations.
  • This position requires keen attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Efficient troubleshooting abilities. Ability to solve complex problems by gathering facts and applying detailed trouble-shooting techniques.
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload along with project assignments.
  • Strong knowledge of technology, hardware, and software in a professional services environment (e.g., extensive knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 operating systems, desktop and network security issues and software functionality and deployment, including Microsoft Office (2013/2016) and Microsoft Office 365.
  • General working knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Sub-netting).
  • General working knowledge of anti-virus, backup, and remote access technologies.

Preferred:
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT), or similar credentials that validate expertise in Apple technologies is highly desirable.
  • ITILv3 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification
  • CompTIA A+ certification

Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
Salary range:$75,000-$110,000
