Job Description Job Description Hardware Manager Summary Job Description Our company is searching for a talented and detail-oriented Hardware Manager for a woodworking manufacturer. You will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts specific to our software programs and client standards. To be successful as a Hardware Manager, you should be perceptive, an active learner/ listener, and one step ahead of daily tasks. Top candidates must be good under pressure having critical thinking skills, time management, communication skills, an ability to identify new and current hardware materials, tools, and a willingness to lead by example in the workplace. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ? Picking/ pulling hardware for given job orders ? Correctly weighing, grouping, and packing material. ? Restocking hardware in its designated space ? Maintaining a clean and organized station ? Monitoring inventory and reordering low stock items when needed ? Updating status of orders on completion spread sheet. ? Must be able to demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills. ? Analyzing information and finding the best solutions to problems. ? Always Maintaining clear and honest communication with HR and other employees. ? Keeping the work environment, himself/herself, and others safe always. Qualifications/ Skills & Abilities: ? Previous experience is preferred; training will be provided if needed ? Valid Driver’s License ? Ability to maintain and clean equipment and work area ? Must be able to work independently / and be self-motivated reliable, responsible, and on time. (Early is on-time, on-time, late is unacceptable) ? A professional work ethic is a must. ? Must have good written and verbal communication skills. (Must Speak English) ? Must be able to work with and as an effective part of a team. ? Must have good interpersonal skills. ? Must be able to demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills ? Shipping experience necessary Physical Demands: ? Pulling hardware from designated inventory areas ? Sufficient strength and physical dexterity ? Warehouse environment ? All basic Safety Equipment will be supplied Benefits & Compensation: ? Full time position, minimum 40 hours/week ?
