Senior Software Engineer - Military veterans preferred

Job Description Job Description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible to, analyze, develop, test, and distribute mission software, firmware, and products rapidly along with block cycle updates to existing software applications while contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about software engineering and thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor/Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related engineering field 10-15 years related experience Strong proficiency in software development languages, including C#, .Net, and Python. Extensive experience with front-end development, preferably with Angular. US Citizen with US DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Security Clearance PREFERRED SKILLS Experience with software architecture, interfacing, and communications. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum. Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with serial communication protocols such RS-232/422/423/485, SPI, I²C, USB, MIL-STD-1553 Familiarity with Open API standards. Strong understanding of MIL-STD-1553 protocol and its application in software development, considered a significant plus.
