Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a IFC Capability Execution & Orchestration (CE&O) Systems Engineering Manager 3. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel Program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You’ll Get To Do As the Capability Execution & Orchestration Lead, you will lead a team of approximately 50-65 systems engineers, software engineers, project managers, and architects across multiple domains and disciplines. The successful candidate should be detailed oriented, be able to work collaboratively with multiple teams and disciplines, and be able to communicate clearly with DevStar leadership and external customers. The selected candidate will provide technical project leadership and drive integration of products across multiple sub-teams. The candidate will be expected to lead the planning, execution, architecture and design, feature development, and metrics of all program Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFCs). The selected candidate will create a culture of well-being, inclusion and engagement that attracts, retains and enables a high performing workforce. Expected duties include, but are not limited to the following: Lead the IFC execution teams in planning, executing, and completing IFCs through IFC Certification. Manage and approve IFC artifacts and deliverables. Lead the IFC technical team in IFC architecture, incremental feature definition, requirements, and interfaces. Lead the Data Analytics and Metrics team in metrics dashboard development and planning and tracking of IFC and program SW execution. Coordinate, plan and integrate with the DevStar Build & Integration team, Alpha Integration team, and Emulation/Simulation team. Coordinate vertically and horizontally with multiple engineering teams and organizations outside of DevStar. Coordinate with external customer teams. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Job Qualifications You’ll Bring These Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 8 years related experience or Masters Degree in STEM and 6 years related experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/ management position Experience successfully applying engineering process and procedures to complex development and production efforts. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineer, or Mathematics or other related technical fields. Experience leading groups of 30 in a programmatic, or technical capacity. Experience in leading the planning and execution of Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFCs). High proficiency in technical problem solving and systems engineering support across multiple engineering disciplines. Strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication and collaboration, team engagement, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse engineering teams and attract, recruit, and develop top talent. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and execute on large and complex systems engineering or integration efforts. GBSDLeadership GBSDsystems Salary Range: $156,000 - $234,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
